Concord Public Schools and Concord-Carlisle Regional School Districts partner with varying organizations in providing high level Professional Development opportunities.

  • IDEAS and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents

    IDEAS, a partner of the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents, has been providing professional learning opportunities for educational institutions and other organizations for more than thirty years. They offer a variety of services, including graduate-level courses and focused seminars, that help your community develop anti-racist practices that collectively work to dismantle systems of oppression.

  • Teachers as Scholars

    Teachers As Scholars (TAS) offers K-12 teachers content-based, two-day seminars led by university faculty.  The seminars provide teachers the opportunity to explore a text, topic, or issue when they are most likely to benefit – during the school day.TAS offers seminars in the arts, humanities, science, and math. Teachers choose seminars which interest them, regardless of their grade level or content expertise. Annually the program offers over 35 seminars for the 400 teachers participating from our 35 member schools and school districts.

    Primary Source educates global citizens by working with teachers to foster students’ knowledge, skills, and dispositions for thoughtful and engaged citizenship. With our guidance and resources, teachers cultivate students’ civic-mindedness, cultural awareness, and global competence, preparing them for our increasingly diverse and interconnected world.
