Ruth Grube Hired as Director of Student Services
Superintendent Dr. Laurie Hunter announced today that Ruth Grube will become the new Director of Student Services for Concord and Concord-Carlisle School Districts. Grube’s hiring follows an extensive hiring process that included a survey of parents and staff as well as a search committee comprised of a wide range of stakeholders in the school and parent communities. In her role, Grube will work with the leadership team and appropriate personnel to plan and implement a broad base of student services including special education programs, mental health services, English Language Learner programs and nursing.
“All of us on the leadership for our districts are excited to welcome Ruth. Her robust experience and demonstrated dedication to serving students will make her a good fit for our districts and our professional and teaching staffs. Her skill sets and positive attitude are perfectly aligned with what our parents and school community asked for in the search process,” stated Superintendent Hunter.
Currently serving as the Administrator of Special Education for the Peabody Public Schools, Grube will begin this role on July 1st. Previously, she has served as a Program Director for Community High School in Peabody, Director of Student Services for Shore Educational Collaborative, as well as in roles as a teacher, curriculum coordinator and a special education teacher.
