Spanish Instruction begins in the three elementary schools

Concord Public Schools is pleased to announce that instruction in Spanish language has commenced this week at all three elementary schools (Alcott, Thoreau, Willard).  Each school has a full time Spanish teacher. Each class in kindergarten through grade 5 has Spanish twice a week. To learn the language, students will sing songs, play games, and have conversations. The curriculum will emphasize speaking, listening, and cultural awareness. We are excited to support the growth of the next generation of global citizens!

We welcome our Spanish Teachers Rachel Washa (Alcott), Annette Howard (Thoreau), and Marietta Lee (Willard).
