Instructional Technology

Welcome to Instructional Technology!

It is the role of the Instructional Technology staff to facilitate innovative and effective use of educational technologies. We promote integration of digital tools that support classroom teaching, strengthen student learning, increase student engagement, and assist students’ development of digital literacy and digital citizenship capabilities.

The Instructional Technology staff consists of the new K-12 Digital Literacy Administrator, and at each school, an instructional technology specialist and a library media specialist. In coordination with the Information Technology department, this team paves the way for creative and complex digital learning resulting in greater overall achievement and preparedness for all students.

If at any time you have questions about our program, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Lynne Beattie, K12 Digital Literacy Administrator
